Brave Care is looking for an empathetic and organized leader to join our Clinic Operations Team as the Lead Receptionist. This is a great opportunity to be part of a practice and company changing the way children and families access and receive care.

In this role you will lead our receptionist team who are responsible for interacting with our patients, caregivers, and partners within our clinics in person, via email, and phones. You will be both a player and a coach, ensuring that daily frontdesk and in-clinic patient operations run smoothly. You will report directly to the Clinical Operations Manager and lead the receptionist teams across our Portland and Austin clinics.

In this role you will…

  • Lead and develop a team of compassionate, efficient receptionists, enabling them to be their best selves by providing counsel, support, and clear expectations
  • Support your team through change as we roll out new workflows and policies as part of our commitment to continuous improvement
  • Support the delivery of excellent patient service by managing escalations and issue resolution
  • Oversee daily operations for all receptionists across four clinics, including:
    • Providing timely support to patients and caregivers via phone and email
    • Processing of in-clinic administration tasks
    • Partnering with our billing team to ensure timely processing of payments
    • Ensuring the efficient check-in and check-out of patients as they flow through our clinic
    • Co-managing clinic schedules to ensure that visits are booked appropriately
  • Actively monitor team performance metrics, ensuring that emergent items and escalations are quickly addressed and objectives are met
  • Hold a high bar for performance and accountability both for yourself and your team
  • Support the creation of workflows, procedures, and policies to ensure that our team is efficient, prepared, and engaged
  • Work cross functionally with operational and clinic stakeholders to ensure smooth operations between our groups
  • Use your high organizational & project management skills to thoughtfully prioritize and plan you and your team’s work across competing priorities without sacrificing quality
  • As part of the Clinic Leadership Team you will support critical operational needs such as inventory, planning, and expansion efforts

You’ll need to have…

  • 3 years of leadership experience within a clinic environment as a lead receptionist, medical assistant, clinic administrator, or similar
  • A track record of progressive responsibility in your roles
  • Proven ability to build respectful, positive relationships with multiple stakeholders and peers
    • + Bonus Points for experience within pediatrics
  • Acquire and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Show proof of vaccination status for COVID-19 (subject to accommodations)

  • $45,000-$60,000/yr
