As Brave Care continues to grow we're looking for an Accounting Manager. Although this position is remote, we are seeking candidates that are in the Austin, Texas and Portland, Organ metropolitan areas! This is a great opportunity to be part of a practice and company changing the way children and families access and receive care. We're looking for an individual contributor with multi-entity experience who can work with Brave Care staff and contractors to own the accounting and reporting function.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead daily accounting processes including general accounting, AP, and revenue reconciliations
  • Assist with the financial reporting process to deliver accurate and timely results
  • Develop procedures to ensure compliance with all tax and corporate filing requirements
  • Partner with Head of Finance to develop and implement company-wide internal controls
  • Assist with the recast of accounting records to US GAAP
  • Support accounting and finance integration for new builds and acquired clinics
  • Partner with Head of Finance and other members of the Finance department on special projects

You’ll be a good match if you have:

  • Worked in a multi-entity environment and have experience with intercompany transactions
  • Worked with complex revenue reconciliations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced data analysis and Excel skills
  • Start-Up Experience (preferred)

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience working with both small and large ERPs
